Getting Started
How do I sign up? Select a subscription service package, complete the form and enter your payment information.
How do we determine how leads are assigned? Incoming leads will be assigned based on your general travel experience and areas of expertise as often as      possible. This program is designed for agents who can assist with mainstream leisure travel (cruises, all-inclusive resorts, domestic and international vacations, group travel, etc.).
How long before my leads begin? Once we receive the required documents to verify your credentials and you receive an email confirming approval it takes 48-72 for leads to begin. Weekends can sometimes cause delays.
What if I only quote cruises or Disney? We cannot accommodate highly specific or single-focus niches such as Disney-only specialists, single-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â destination experts, or narrowly defined trip types (e.g., one resort brand, one cruise line). We cannot guarantee every lead will perfectly match your specialty, especially if your focus is limited.
Leads & Expectations
How will I receive leads? Leads will be sent two ways. One via the email address you provide—please ensure it is correct. Second via        Facebook Messenger connections. Please make sure to connect with us via Messenger at https://www.facebook.com/journey.junkies.782917/ so we can test your Messenger account to confirm it is capable of making the introductions.
​Can I charge planning fees for the quotes I offer? NO. You must offer at least one free quote to each traveler assigned to you, but you are not required to provide more than three quotes. If the traveler requests a 4th quote or additional revisions, you may propose a fee directly to the customer. This negotiation is strictly between you and the traveler, but must be documented in writing in case we recieve a complaint. You are encouraged to clearly outline in writing what you will provide and when any expenses will be incurred to avoid misunderstandings. Written approval is required from the customer before charging any fees. If a complaint is received that fees were charged without prior consent, you will be suspended indefinitely       from the Matchmaker program.
Payments & Policies
Are there guidelines I must follow? YES. Professional Conduct is Required. You must follow all Matchmaker guidelines when approaching or communicating with assigned leads. All guidelines will be provided in your Welcome email. We do not tolerate high-pressure sales tactics, unsolicited mass messaging, or contact outside of the approved introduction process. Failure to follow the communicated guidelines or any report of unprofessional behavior will result in your immediate removal from the Matchmaker program and payment will not be refunded.
Do I make bookings and take payments directly? All bookings, payments, and travel arrangements are handled directly between you and the customer. No personal data or payment information should be collected through Messenger. Travel Agent Matchmaker only facilitates introductions. We do not take any portion of commissions. Any report of scams, misrepresentation, or unethical business practices will result in immediate termination from the Matchmaker service.
Is the program available to agents outside of the US? This program is currently only available to agents located in the United States.
